Pallet rack upright post protectors are typically installed around the front upright column in forklift aisles. The anchor in style post protector that we supply is the most durable and heavy duty rack protector available. We have 4 anchor holes in our base plate in order to use ½” x 3.75” long concrete wedge anchors or concrete bolts to allow a secure and safe installation. When a forklift hits the rack protector, the post protector may get damaged or bent, but this usually keeps the upright frame from being impacted. If the upright frames are hit by the forklift, then there is potential fatigue and loss of capacity the upright frame can carry. This can lead to pallet rack upright failure and the pallet rack system falling.

Our 3/16" thick steel protectors are 5.5" wide and have multiple bends (4) for added strength, longer footplates offering high impact resistance and greater anchor hole spacing, and are welded inside and outside on the base of the protector for more durability. We keep the 5.5" wide style in 12" high, 18" high, and 24" high in stock.
Our 4.6" wide protectors are made of heavy duty 1/4" thick steel and also have 4 bends for added strength against forklift impact. In stock shipment on 12" high, 18" high, and 24" high.
Powder coat safety yellow is our standard finish but we can offer many other colors upon request. All our post protectors accept our rack end guard rail to easily convert them into our pallet rack end protection kit to keep the end of rack rows, tunnel aisles, & dock door rack safe.
We also offer custom specifications for our post protectors to accommodate low beam levels or corner configurations.
All warehouse pallet rack systems should have extra protection for the upright frames in the form of pallet rack upright protectors because these heavy duty protectors are a low cost addition to help reduce damage and possible rack failure.
